• Trip update

Our two days long trip started on Monday morning and took us to our destination on Tuesday evening. We met with beautiful Oman for a walk yesterday and visited him in his garden today. Both visits were very pleasant but did not result in any real ‘date’ as Dottie is not ready yet. This is totally fine with us and I am just happy that she gets to know Oman before they do something. So what is my impression of Oman? From the moment I saw him live I knew I made the right choice. All pictures of him don’t…

  • Updated plans

Plans change… We were supposed to travel to Italy today but as progesterone test showed that it was way too early we are going to wait a bit longer. It will also get warmer so hopefully there will be no snow either. I love snow when staying at home but to drive in it is not my favourite thing to do. And Dottie? She is just being Dottie. đź©·

  • Sad news

Today I received heartbreaking news that our dear Milo (Sommarvindens Michelangelo) passed away, 14 years and 10 months old. My thoughts go to his dear family. Milo is greatly missed and will never be forgotten. I hope that he is running free with his mother and his two brothers close to him.

  • Planning the trip

Dear readers, Now when Dottie decided to start with her heat the first thing we need to plan for is a trip to visit Oman. All our previous saluki litters’ sires were living within one hour drive from our home so it was easy to have a date with them whenever we wanted. This time we need to travel all the way to Italy. It is a trip of 1500 kms that will take us two days to complete. We will travel by car but will need to take a ferry from Denmark to Germany and we will also need…

  • Guess who decided to “turn on the heat” :)

In another words, time has come to share with you all that a journey towards our next saluki litter has officially started and that our trip to Italy, to meet beautiful Oman is planned. We will keep you posted on the development on this page, Instagram and Facebook. Once the mating has happened I will send email to you all who decided to be added to our waiting list.

  • Soon

Here comes an update for you who are, just like me, (un)patiently waiting for Dottie to get in heat. It can’t be so far away now I think. Dottie is peeing more often during our walks and she is showing interest larger than usual in the boys we meet on our walks. Our dogs are also smelling her under her tail several times a day. They also jump on her and today she also jumped on Lo. They usually don’t do these things except when being in heat or close to it. I will for sure keep you posted as…
